About Me
Bumsoo Kim is an assistant professor in School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Chung-Ang University.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Kakao Brain (currently Kakao) and LG AI Research.
In 2022, he earned his Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Sciences at Korea University under the co-supervision of Dr. Jaewoo Kang and Dr. Hyunwoo J. Kim.
His main focus is multimodal learning for efficient visual/text understanding and he has been actively publishing at AI venues (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, etc.). Specifically, his research interests include Efficient Multimodal Models, Generative Models, 3D vision, and medical imaging.
